Lessons to learn from one that has lived life

one that has lived life

Every life experience leaves us with lessons to learn. Some we learn, others we ignore. But the lessons are there nevertheless. Here are some depth filled and thought provoking lessons birthed from personal experience and from experience of some people I have been privileged to meet in this journey of life.

In all you do, never forget the truth that life is a choice

Life dishes the same setbacks and tragedies on the optimist, the pessimist, the good, the bad, the weak, the strong… life happens to all

Nobody is perfect. Nobody was ever designed to be perfect. What we are … is HUMAN

When you set impossible criteria for happiness, you may never be happy

True contentment comes from being grateful over the little things of life.

The beauty of life is in the moments. Live in the NOW. Tomorrow remains shrouded in mystery. No matter how much you worry, tomorrow will remain just that – A MYSTERY

I do not know if life is fair or not. I just know life is LIFE and has happened to everybody.

We do not see things in life the way they are but the way we are. When posed with the same situation, an optimist sees hope and a future. A pessimist sees doom and finality.

There is greatness in every one. The sad truth is, some people never unveil theirs and eventually die with it.

Comparison is a thief of joy. It doesn’t prove a thing. Discover you, learn you, love you and live you.

Tied to our individuality is our importance. Our uniqueness sells us.

The greatest magic ever known to mankind remains love, for it has the unique power to find what has been lost, mend what is broken, save what is doomed, revive what is faint, heal what is wounded, and strengthen what is weak.

Give as much love as you can because its effects and impact lingers forever.

The past I no longer have. The future I may never have. The present I certainly have. Live in the moment for regret cages you to the past and worry chains you to an uncertain tomorrow.

A soldier with no battle scars is no soldier at all.  The blows dealt on us by life (whether pleasant or not) is a proof that we have lived life.
