Wait! What have you done to your pregnancy????
Have you ever seen a pregnant woman???
From the moment a woman takes in till the moment she delivers of her child, there is a gradual change in her body physically, mentally and emotionally to accommodate the child. Initially, the change may not be noticeable, but as months pass, the change become more prominent and people could easily tell she is pregnant.
We are all pregnant….
The moment you had that idea, the very moment that vision came to you, you became pregnant.
3 months. 5 months. 6 months…tell me, what have you done to that pregnancy?
Where is the ‘physical’ and ‘mental’ change that comes from carrying an idea?
7 months. 8 months. 9 months… have you lost your pregnancy to fear, excuses and procrastinations?
So many people are dreamers; they had ideas that would make Mark Zukerberg envious, they carried dreams that would shake nations and surprise Mother Nature…but months down the line, years down the line, they are nowhere to be found. Their names along with their brilliant dreams have been washed down the shores of time.
Dreams are like seeds. They are very essential to growing a forest. Without a seed, there will be no tree. But what good is a seed if it never becomes a tree? What good is a dream if it never becomes a reality? The truth is people are not interested in your ideas or numerous dreams, they only want to see one thing- the success you have achieved. So don’t let your dreams die as seeds. You must plant and nurture them!
The moment that idea hits you, it begins to grow in your mind. Your subconscious begins to seek out ways to bring it to reality. Don’t let fear and excuses deter you from achieving your dreams. Remember: you are your biggest and only limitations. The limitations that can pull you down are the ones YOU recognize.
I have learnt a long time ago that possibility and impossibility is a function of the mind. What you term impossible, to another is possible; so don’t sell out your dreams on the altar of excuse and fear. Hear Ralph Waldo Emerson in his own words ‘while a person is saying that something is impossible, he is immediately interrupted by someone achieving that same thing’-
